The Writers Group Basic Workshop I

A series of 8 weekly sessions designed to develop your art, craft, and business of songwriting. The group is limited to 6 people ensuring that I can give as much personal attention to each writer as they need. For the last session, the group will showcase at a local venue.

Each week you will bring in a song to be critiqued collaboratively. I will give you exercises, tools, and homework to improve language skills and organization of thoughts and feelings. I encourage communication by assigning co-writing sessions with each other. Additionally, I invite top professionals in the creative and business fields to guest speak and participate in a Q & A's.

THE WRITERS GROUP WORKSHOP II

Prerequisite - Writers Basic Workshop I

A series of 8 weekly sessions designed to develop your art, craft, and business of songwriting. The group is limited to 6 people ensuring that I can give as much personal attention to each writer as they need. For the last session, the group will showcase at a local venue.

This workshop uses the skills developed in Basics Workshop I to concentrate on the co-writing process, writing on assignment, and not losing yourself when writing for others. You will be tackling harder issues and tougher assignments challenging you to your fullest. Additionally, I will invite a few surprise guests to stop by.

One Day Intensive

This workshop is designed for anyone who wishes to explore and develop
their creative process.

In a fun-filled day I cover the basics of developing your writing skills. I provide exercises and tools to introduce new ideas and methods to help you improve your skills. Each writer is to bring in two songs to be critiqued and analyzed.

The intensive is limited to twelve people.

Songwriting Parlor

Once a month, I offer a critique and advise session with me. The group is limited to only those who have previously taken one of my workshops.

Please bring 2 song to be critiqued with lyric sheets.

Retreats

It's all about co-writing. A group of 12 writers and I escape the everyday to a new setting conducive for amazing writing and extraordinary moments. We explore different methods and experience the collaborative effort of everyone's input.

Take the chance to get to know yourself and your music better, and make lasting relationships along the way.

Retreats can range from a 3 day weekend to an entire week.
